CONGRATULATIONS to you on your promotion. It is well deserved. Now you can sponsor our nonprofit training. I'm serious. ;) If you need anything, someone to listen or guidance regarding capstone or other endeavors, let me know. Take care and yes, let's keep in touch!

Hey, I hope you are adjusting as you return to work. I still have one more interview to finish my data gathering process, which is scheduled for Friday, so I will be working hard this weekend. As I gather information, Schein's text is coming to life. I have also found the process of creating the c-map helpful, not necessarily the map itself. Anyway, take it easy and after May, you have another wedding to go to in August -- YOURS!

Wow, it looks like you have the right person as a change agent in your organization. They seem hard to come by, though very important to organizations, make sure you keep up that good attitude and compliment your president.

Time is so limited with people these days, especially with the economic crunch, as people have been laid off and staff time is being thinly spread. Maybe you may want to send out a survey or try to get people to go out to lunch/drink/dinner. People still eat, right? Also, just wondering, how were the campuses different?

It looks like what the past director has created has been instilled in those she left behind because you are probably doing something that she would have done to maintain the culture. I do not think that the culture exactly diminishes once someone/a leader leaves, what happens, in my book is a filtration of the 'good/bad' behaviors or those that are valid enough to gain success.

Wow, that is powerful! That's a really interesting point about the individual campus cultures being different from the careers services culture. I like the idea of the directors meeting to tie people together from all over the region. Things like this should happen frequently, I think, in organizations that are more spread out. What about sharing experiences through blogs too? ;)
